Hippo (voiced by Jay Baruchel) is the son of the Viking chief, Stoick (voice of Gerard Butler), on the island of Berk. The Vikings have been plagued by attacks of dragons attacking their livestock and destruction of their homes, their hideout is still difficult to reach from Stoick searches. Hiccups, skinny and awkward destructive compared to others in your community, try to compensate by building contraptions to kill dragons, specifically the most dangerous dragon known, the mysterious Night Fury, whom no one has fought and survived, to gain a little respect, most important Astrid (voiced by America Ferrera), a girl with aggressive competition from its intention to join the ranks of age of the Vikings.
